“Beyond the Ballpark” Watch Parties and Willie Mays Film Screening

Get ready for an exciting week to honor the history, community, and contributions of the Negro Leagues! Major League Baseball is thrilled to invite you to the incredible events happening in the Birmingham area. First up, join us for the Willie Mays Film Screening at the Carver Theatre on June 17th for a special screening of Say Hey, Willie Mays!

That’s just the beginning! On June 20th, from 5 pm – 10 pm, head over to one of the featured venues for “Beyond the Ballpark” Watch Parties hosted by MLB. The special Regular Season contest between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants will be played at Rickwood Field, the oldest professional ballpark in the United States and the former home of the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro Leagues.
