Fall River Fest @ Living River, Oct. 20, 9 am – 7 pm

Living River: A Retreat on the Cahaba (2000 Living River Parkway, Montevallo, AL 35115) is celebrating 2 milestones on October 20 from 9 am to 7 pm. Twenty years ago a coalition of Environmental Partners collaborated to remove the New Marvel Slab from the Cahaba River on Living River’s property, and 10 years ago, Living River opened it’s doors for business.

Activities include fly-fishing lesson, fossil hunting, hiking, animal show, meet and learn with Cahaba partners (Alabama Aquatic Biodiversity Center, Alabama Rivers Alliance, Cahaba Riverkeeper, Cahaba River Society, Carla Atkinson University of Alabama Mussel Lab, Friends of Shades Creek, and the US Fish and Wildlife Services), bounce house, pumpkin trail, campfire and smores.
