Art on the Inside: A Collection of Works from the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project
“Art on the Inside” is an exhibition of recent works by students who have participated in the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project at Auburn University. Founded with the knowledge that creativity is an essential trait of humanity, APAEP works to create spaces where currently and formerly incarcerated individuals can practice meaningful engagement with the arts and develop their own artistic voices.This exhibition is made possible by a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts awarded to the Friends Foundation of BPL.
