BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA INVITES COMMUNITY TO “GRIP IT-N-RIP IT FOR KIDS” GOLF TOURNAMENT
Annual tournament to raise funds supporting youth across Central Alabama

Birmingham, AL (June 2026) – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama (BGCCA) is proud to announce its 3rd Annual Grip It-N-Rip It for Kids Golf Tournament, hosted by CoAdvantage, on Thursday, June 11th at Ballantrae Golf Course, 1300 Ballantrae Club Dr., Pelham, AL. The event will bring together community leaders, businesses, and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition in support of local youth.

Each year, thousands of children and teens walk through the doors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama seeking a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive. Proceeds from the tournament will directly support BGCCA’s afterschool and summer programs, helping ensure young people have access to academic support, caring mentors, and opportunities to build brighter futures through career exploration and workforce development programs.

Participants will have opportunities to engage with long drive golf professionals and experience exciting demonstrations on the course.

The Boys & Girls Clubs Kids at Tee-Off
One of the most meaningful moments of the day Club members will be at tee-off to cheer on players and remind us all why we swing.

BGCCA is currently seeking golfers to help make this year’s tournament the most impactful yet. Whether individuals choose to play or support in another way, every contribution helps provide life-changing programs for youth throughout Central Alabama.

• Registration Begins at 8:00am -9:00am Shotgun Start
• The tournament is proudly hosted by CoAdvantage.
• The tournament will follow a traditional 4-person scramble format
