19th Annual “God & Jazz” at St. Luke’s on Wednesday, December 4th
November 26, 2024 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
$12 – $30Imagine a solo jazz saxophonist slowly making his way down the aisle of a church playing “O Holy Night” like you’ve never heard it before, joined by an ensemble of other incredibly talented jazz musicians who are coming together for the 19th year to showcase their true inspiration.
“God & Jazz” will be presented at St. Luke’s Church in Crestline on Wednesday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. This special holiday celebration will feature the church’s extended family of world-class musicians, including members of Top Secret – Melvin Baldwin, Michael Ham, Norris Jones, Kelley O’Neal, CeCe Phillips, Sean Michael Ray and St. Luke’s own Shaun Pezant – with special guests Jonathan Berry on trumpet and Kim Scott on flute, a perennial #1 Billboard Jazz Artist.
“God & Jazz” will cover a wide repertoire spanning traditional and contemporary jazz, as well as fresh versions of holiday favorites. Tickets are available for purchase at Eventbrite.com and at the door. Students and children under 12 will be admitted free.
It’s a one-of-a-kind jazz concert you simply won’t want to miss. And definitely family-friendly.
