12 Builders Win in Birmingham Parade of Homes

Twelve builders were recognized Thursday for outstanding work submitted to the 2024 Birmingham Parade of Homes presented by Spire and AlphaGraphics. The official list of Parade winners includes 12 Gold, nine Silver and six Bronze awards commending new homes developed by construction groups ranging from local custom builders to regional and national names. The honorees were acknowledged at the Parade’s official kickoff party event held at the 2024 Parade Ideal Home in Chelsea.

Harris Doyle Homes was the evening’s most-recognized group, taking home seven awards in total for properties in Central Shelby, South Shelby, Vestavia, Hoover and Leeds/Trussville. Embassy Homes followed closely with five honors for residences in Chelsea, South Shelby and Hoover.

Scholl Construction’s Highland Park Cottage home was named overall best in show. Fairin Realty’s The Heights Model Home received the Gold award for the build-to-rent category, a new addition to the 2024 event.

Together, more than 60 featured homes in the 2024 Parade represent a wide breadth of styles and prices ranging from $300,000 to $3.9 million. Twenty-five unique builders were responsible for the showcased properties, which encompass 17 different communities.

“We’re incredibly proud of the exceptional work that’s done in our market every single day,” said Parade Chairman Scott Underwood. “The Parade of Homes awards are our chance to celebrate that. Looking at this list of winners, prospective homeowners at every price range across the metro can rest assured that they’re in good hands.”
