New hangout spot…meet Vestavia Hills. The Local Bourbon House and Eatery has expanded its space to include an outdoor patio, giving Birmingham-area diners a new spot for family-friendly gatherings, good food, live music, football and, of course, bourbon.
Here’s a closer look at the space and why you’ll want to visit this fall.
A new place for locals to gather in Vestavia Hills
If there were ever a reason to “Come for the burger. Stay for the bourbon”, The Local Bourbon House and Eatery is it.
Locally owned by Kiran Sunkavalli, the restaurant has created an outdoor patio space, giving the Vestavia Hills restaurant plenty of room for more people to gather, eat, sip and hang out.
The inspiration behind the added space: Vestavia Hills needed a hangout spot.
Sunkavalli spent months asking locals what they loved about the area as well as what they felt was missing. The answer kept coming back to one thing: a place where people could gather.
So, that’s exactly what The Local Bourbon House and Eatery created. What was once an alleyway and parking area is now an inviting outdoor space.
