New Ace Hardware store coming to Liberty Park

If you live in the Liberty Park area of Vestavia Hills and frequently take on home or car projects, you’ll be glad to hear about the upcoming addition of an Ace Hardware store to your neighborhood.
Compton Ace Hardware opening second store in Birmingham
Shoppers of The Bray at Liberty Park in Vestavia Hills will soon see construction begin on the new Ace Hardware store. Construction will begin before 2026 is over and the store is expected to open in fall 2027.
The new store will be owned by the same family who owns the Compton Ace Hardware store in Crestline Park. They opened the location at 4500 Montevallo Road in 2022 and after four successful years of business, they are expanding to the new location.
Compton Ace Hardware at The Bray will be about 12,000–15,000 square feet, making it larger than its counterpart in Crestline Park.
Vestavia Hills is also getting an Ace of the Hills hardware store at 680 Olde Town Road, which will hold a grand opening on September 11–13.
