Little Red Print Shop announces 9-week holiday pop-up shop at Pepper Place

The Little Red Print Shop, known for hand-carved block prints and its tiny vending machines around Birmingham, is putting down roots at Pepper Place.
Printmaker Jessica Leitch announced the news on Instagram Tuesday, Aug. 25, sharing that her brick and mortar shop will open this fall for a nine-week holiday season run. Shoppers will be able to find handmade prints, gifts and goods made in collaboration with local makers.
“There will be fun surprises you can only get at the holiday pop up, so if you’re looking for a reason to make a trip to Bham, add this to the list!”

When to visit the Little Red Print Shop pop-up
- Sneak peek weekends: Starting late September
- Grand opening: October 24
- Pop-up run: Nine weeks through the holiday season
Leitch, a self-taught printmaker, hand carves each design from a rubber block and hand-inks every print using a relief printing method also known as linocut or block printing. She mixes her own ink colors, which means every print carries small variations that make it one of a kind.

Until the Pepper Place shop opens, The Little Red Print Shop’s tiny vending machines are stocked at four spots around the metro:
