Alabama + Auburn 2026 football tailgate locations

Tailgating is great way to support your favorite team, and the key to success is preparation—especially at SEC schools.

Tip: Free tailgate spaces fill up fast, so arrive early.

Tailgating at the University of Alabama

Free tailgating spaces on the west side of the Quad at UA can not be reserved ahead of time, so show up early to claim your spot.

• Where: Access the Quad tailgate supply drop-off via Stadium Drive.

• Drop-off times:
  • Fridays: 6–8PM
  • Saturdays: Times vary by kickoff
    • 11AM kickoff: 6AM–7AM
    • 1PM kickoff: 7AM–9AM
    • 2:30–4PM kickoff: 7AM–10AM
    • 4PM or later kickoff: 7AM–12PM

• What to know:
  • Fans have 15 minutes to unload their gear.
  • Unloading takes place from Colonial Drive on the west side of the Quad.
    • These spaces cannot be reserved ahead of time, so arrive early and ready to drop off your supplies + claim your spot.

Tailgating at Auburn University

Tailgating at Auburn University also runs on a first-come, first-serve basis.

• Tailgating begins at 4PM on Fridays before home games
  • Hayfield tailgating on S Donahue Dr. begins at 2PM
• Tailgating for the 2026 Iron Bowl will begin at 6AM on Fri, Nov. 27, 2026
