Daysol Coffee has completed its Bluff Park makeover in Hoover.

The locally-owned coffee specialty coffee shop reopened in June solely under the Daysol banner after its Bluff Park Coffee Collective partnership with Good Neighbor Baking ended.

Located at 759 Shades Mountain Plaza, the new neighborhood coffee shop is a treat for coffee-lovers, remote workers and families.

According to Daysol Cafe Manager Abby Cook, the space has been refreshed and has a number of new amenities:

They include:

  • Family friendly turf patio in front of the coffee shop
  • Comfortable furniture and new decor  featuring historic Bluff Park images
  • Pastries from Bandit Patisserie
  • Breakfast tacos from Lady Bird Tacos
  • Locally made protein bars, cane sugar sodas, and kombucha from Better Kombucha

And of course, the locally roasted coffee remains the star of the show at Daysol.

Cook summed up what makes Daysol Coffee in Bluff Park special.

“It’s a really sweet  little spot to stop in and work, meet a friend for coffee, or bring your kids for an afternoon treat.

Most of our baristas know a lot of our regulars by name, know their kids’ names, know what they’re up to. It’s a fun environment. We’re starting to see a lot more people come from around the Birmingham area after our downtown location opened.”
