Cheapest gas in Birmingham right now: Stations below $3.60 as average hits $3.76

After a brief period of relief, gas prices are ticking upward again across the U.S.

Due to volatility along the Strait of Hormuz and increasing demand, according to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular gas jumped 15 cents in the last week to $4.09.

Even so, Alabama’s gas remains some of the cheapest in the country at an average of $3.757 as of Thursday, July 23.
