This past week, six new building permits were issued across Alabama for construction projects exceeding $1 million. These permits include multiple projects in North Alabama, an Anniston project and a renovation project at the Walmart store on Pelham Parkway.

The Pelham Walmart renovations include wider aisles, refreshed interiors, digital price tags and upgraded pharmacies with private consultation rooms.
