Talbots + White House Black Market returning to The Summit in late 2026

The Summit is getting closer to welcoming back two familiar stores to its ranks.
Two notable women’s fashion brands, Talbots and White House Black Market, are returning after previously closing their doors.
Signage and construction barricades have been erected, so it’s time to get excited.
White House Black Market and Talbots locations at The Summit
Both brands are setting up shop next to each other within the shopping center’s plaza corridor, creating a centralized footprint for classic women’s apparel.
Talbots and White House Black Market both closed in late 2024.
- Talbots is opening a large, refreshed storefront measuring approximately 8,700 square feet. The brick-and-mortar space will be situated between LOFT and the Woodhouse Day Spa. Upon opening, it will serve as the brand’s exclusive location in the Birmingham metro area and one of only six statewide.
- White House Black Market plans to occupy a 2,900-square-foot space near Talbots and LOFT. This location will mark its second retail store in Alabama and its only presence in the Birmingham market.
Talbots and White House Black Market are currently planning to welcome shoppers back to their sales floors later this year, according the Summit’s social media.
