Founded in 2022, La Fête is a Michelin Bib Gourmand–recognized French bistro and wine bar owned by Kristen Hall, a James Beard Award semifinalist® nominated for Best Chef in the South earlier this year. Located in a cozy, charming space at 2018 Morris Ave, La Fête is known for balancing rich, classical French cuisine with savory interpretations of refined French pastry.
Last year, Chef Hall began a new signature tradition at La Fête: a special Bastille Day celebration complete with a unique dinner menu, decor, build-you-own bouquets from Dimples Flower Truck and bottles of Faire La Fête Brut Rosé—the bottle that inspired the name for the restaurant.
This year, Chef Hall is continuing La Fête’s Bastille Day dinner tradition—but in an entirely different venue. On Tuesday, July 14, Chef Hall will craft a multi-course menu for a one-night-only dinner held at Platform by the James Beard Foundation, the Foundation’s state-of-the-art show kitchen inside Pier 57’s Market 57 food hall in Manhattan.

At the dinner, guests can expect:
- A cocktail reception with passed hors d’oeuvres on arrival
- A multi-course menu inspired by the spirit of Parisian dining
- Fine French wines paired with every course
- A Q&A with Chef Hall to close
Tickets range from $185–$250 depending on seating and are available through the James Beard Foundation website.
