LoveShackFancy to open its first Alabama location at The Summit this summer

A global fashion, beauty, home and lifestyle brand is setting up shop at The Summit, and it promises an abundance of feminine ruffles, lace and all things pink.
Here is everything you need to know about the new business coming soon to Birmingham, LoveShackFancy.
About LoveShackFancy
LoveShackFancy is a family-owned company with 27 stores worldwide and 450 retail partners. The brand has done collaborations with big-name companies such as:
- Gap
- Stanley
- Pottery Barn
- Bogner
- Supergoop
- American Girl
It was founded by Rebecca Hessel Cohen, a former fashion and beauty editor at Cosmopolitan, according to the brand’s website. While she was at Cosmo, she designed a hand-dyed halter dress for her 2013 wedding in, “sparking a romance with all things dreamy, optimistic and vintage-inspired femininity.”
On LoveShackFancy’s website, the brand sells:
- Women’s clothing + accessories
- Kids + tween clothing (0 months to 14 years)
- Beauty products, including perfumes, hair + body mists, cosmetic cases, candles + more
- Home goods, including robes, gifts, bedding, bath products, wallpapers, decor, school supplies + more
- Swimwear + activewear

Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, The Summit posted a TikTok saying that LoveShackFancy’s first Alabama location will open this summer.
It will be located between Tecovas and Madewell, in the same part of the mall as the Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack.
