Birmingham restaurants hiring after Pihakis closures

Several restaurants in the Birmingham-area are stepping up to help employees that worked at Pihakis Group Restaurants that suddenly closed last month because of financial woes.

Since mid-April more than a dozen Pihakis restaurants have shuttered leaving an estimated 300-400 people without a job.
