Ever wanted to play rugby, but didn’t want to do all the tackling and scrums?

Now is your chance to play one of the world’s most popular sports.

Every Sunday for the foreseeable future, Birmingham Rugby is opening Erskine Ramsay Park  located at 3601 Country Club Road between 3-5PM to the public to play “Touch Rugby.”

“We wanted to bring the women’s, men’s and youth rugby folks together to run around, play the game we love and build an inviting time for people to dip their toes in our favorite sport in the world.

“So no experience is required for tag rugby, and it’s not nearly as intimidating as the full contact we play in our normal game.  Also it allows for an even playing field.”
