Beloved Trussville eatery, The Palace, returns on May 15

The Palace, a beloved Chinese Restaurant in Trussville, is reopening in a new spot after closing a little more than a year ago.

The eatery, which was a Trussville mainstay for 25 years, announced it is returning on May 15th.

The new location is at 5978 Chalkville Mountain Rd., next to El Patron and near Ollie’s and 7 Brew.

Locals have reacted enthusiastically on The Palace’s Facebook page upon the news:

“I sure have missed you! So glad to hear you are opening up again soon. I have not had Chinese food since you closed because nobody compares to you. Can’t wait to see you again!”
