2 Bham Nowers step into new roles—meet Gabi + Grace!

We love our Bham Now team and all the talent and magic that they bring to our city. Two of our very own recently stepped into new roles, where they’ll continue to bring their passion, curiosity and energy to Birmingham and the stories we tell.

Gabi Hembree-Lee promoted to Bham Now’s Sales Director

Chances are, if you’ve followed Bham Now long enough, you know Gabi. She joined the Bham Now team as an intern while finishing school at UAB, and nearly eight years later, she’s proven herself to be a master in all things sales, business development and personal connection.

“I joined Bham Now because I believed in the mission and the opportunity to better connect the Birmingham community, helping make it a stronger place to live, work, and thrive.

I’m inspired daily by the impact of local storytelling and grateful to support Birmingham and the broader Alabama community.”

Grace Garrison steps into new role as Account Manager

Grace Garrison joined our team in November 2024, but she quickly made herself known around our office and across Birmingham—it’s hard to imagine a time without her!

She brings the energy to everything we create, and now, she’s stepping into the role of Account Manager, where she’ll help Gabi and the rest of our business development team in building awareness of local companies’ missions.

We’re happy to support her career development with her new role as Account Manager for Sales. I have no doubt; she will slay it.”
