Domestique Coffee has been named again one of the best coffee shops in the world by a global organization called the World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops

The Homewood coffee shop ranked 43rd on a list that includes coffee shops from 46 different countries and nine U.S. locations. Last year, Domestique was ranked 47th.

In addition to Domestique, the state of Alabama had one other shop on the list, Montgomery-based Prevail Union. It ranked 66th, down from 17th in 2025.

For Magic City coffee-lovers, Prevail also has a shop in Downtown Birmingham.
