The rumors are true—Culver’s is coming soon to Trussville
Reading time: 2 minutes

Get your appetites ready, Trussville! Mayor Ben Short stirred up excitement this week with a mysterious “guess what’s coming” post on social media—and locals did not hold back. Hundreds chimed in with guesses ranging from Newk’s to Foosackly’s.
Now, the big reveal is here: Culver’s is officially heading to town!
Why Culver’s is a game-changer for Trussville
So why the hype? As Trussville residents, we all know the city’s dining scene is growing—and adding a fan-favorite like Culver’s is a big win. This Wisconsin-born chain has been winning over food lovers since the 1980s with its famous ButterBurgers, fries, and Midwest hospitality.
With locations already nearby in Birmingham and Hoover, the new Trussville spot means less driving and more local options right at home.
“The addition of Culver’s represents continued, thoughtful growth in Trussville. It brings new jobs, expands dining options for residents and reinforces our ability to attract well-established brands that align with our community values.”

Don’t forget the frozen custard
Culver’s coming to town fill all frozen custard dreams! It’s a creamy upgrade from traditional ice cream—rich, smooth and perfect for dipping fries. Come on… don’t pretend you didn’t do the same thing at Wendy’s.
Where will Culver’s be located?
The restaurant is planned for 5905 Trussville Crossings Boulevard, inside the former BancorpSouth building—just across from Whataburger off Chalkville Mountain Road.
What’s next for Trussville?
Mayor Short confirmed there’s no official construction timeline yet, but we’ll keep you posted as more details roll in.
