Grammy Award-winner Jelly Roll and Post Malone bringing new stadium show to Birmingham in May
Reading time: 4 minutes

Did you catch Jelly Roll’s wins at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards last night? The three-time Grammy Award-winning artist is supporting fellow singer/songwriter Post Malone on the second leg of the Big Ass Stadium Tour, which is set to come to Birmingham’s Protective Stadium on Tuesday, May 26.
Post Malone + Jelly Roll’s The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 coming to Birmingham
Last year, Post Malone announced his first all-stadium tour—the Big Ass Stadium Tour—in support of his eighth studio album, F-1 Trillion. Supported by opening acts Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell, the Tour began in Salt Lake City, UT and ended in London—but skipped The Magic City.
Today, the Post Malone-headed tour announced a second leg of the tour. As of Monday, February 2, the Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 includes a brand-new opening act (Carter Faith) and a spread of 25 new tour dates, including:
- Apr. 10 — Fort Lauderdale, Fla. @ Tortuga Music Festival

Post Malone and Jelly Roll’s performance will be the third stadium show in Protective Stadium’s history. In 2022, country music legend Garth Brooks made history by selling out the first-ever performance at Protective Stadium, and in 2025, Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Tour drew over 35,000 guests in a sold-out show at the venue.
“Protective Stadium has proved through sold-out events that it can successfully host world-class concerts, and we’re excited to build on that momentum. From the very beginning, the stadium was intentionally planned and designed to be a multi-purpose venue capable of hosting a range of events beyond traditional athletic games.
From Garth Brooks to Chris Brown and now Post Malone, as well as AMA Supercross and Monster Jam, the stadium has continued to attract high-quality, diverse artists and events, creating lasting benefits for fans, the city, and the local economy.”
Tad Snider, Executive Director/CEO, Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex
The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 announcement comes on the heels of Jelly Roll’s success at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1. The Tennessee-born rapper and singer/songwriter won three awards at the Grammys:
- Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken
- Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Amen” with Shaboozey)
- Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song (“Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Brandon Lake).
Tickets will be available starting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 10:59PM via the Artist Presale on postmalone.com.
