A new coffee shop, Bayt Al-Qahwah, is in the works in the Edgemont Town Center on Green Springs Highway. Keep reading for what we know.
“House of Coffee” coming to Homewood area
Bayt Al-Qahwah, translated “House of Coffee,” plans to bring traditional Yemeni coffee and other cultural experiences to Greater Birmingham.
In case you didn’t know (I didn’t), Yemeni coffee tends to have a sweeter and more chocolatey flavor. You can find a lot of Yemeni coffees and teas on the menu at Adam & Eve Café and other places across Birmingham.
But Bayt Al-Qahwah has already situated itself to be a premium provider of Yemeni culture. It neighbors the Publix on Green Springs Highway, and the location allows Bayt Al-Qahwah to live in a spacious and inviting space.
