Catch this Birmingham-area 13-year-old in Stranger Things 5

An Alabaster girl is one of the Birmingham-area faces you’ll catch on the final season of Stranger Things.
Alyse Elna Lewis, a 13-year-old actress with some big titles under her belt, landed the role of Wendy, one of the classmates of main character Holly Wheeler (portrayed by Nell Fisher).
So far, she has appeared in “Chapter 1: The Crawl” and “Chapter 4: Sorcerer,” so keep your eyes peeled for her while you watch.
In November, Lewis and her costars hit the red carpet in Hollywood for the world premiere of Stranger Things season 5.
About Alyse Lewis
Lewis, a student at Thompson Middle School in Alabaster, has appeared in a handful of other productions, including “Oracle,” “Atlanta,” and “Girlfriendship.”
She hasn’t always been an actress, but she has quickly earned roles in large productions as she emerged into the professional landscape.
“I started acting during COVID because, as a little kid, I always would remember lines from movies and sing different songs from movies. I just had it memorized, and my parents were like, ‘We should get her into acting.’”

During the pandemic, she began acting lessons, and soon enough, her coach referred her to an agent.
