It is the most wonderful time of the year! If you’re still waiting for the perfect (and authentic) addition to your home this season, Birmingham has plenty of local Christmas tree farms to tie everything together for the holidays.

Since 1959, the Mountain Scouts Tree Sale has raised funds for Boy Scout Troops in the “over-the-mountain” area in Birmingham.

2. Warren Family Garden Center & Nursery

Andy’s Creekside Nursery is a Vestavia Hills hot spot for plant lovers, but it’s a seasonal fav for Christmas trees, too!

4. Poppy’s Christmas Trees

Poppy’s has been a Birmingham fave for more than 30 years—my friends and I love Poppy’s! You can find tons of fir and pine trees off of Montclair Road in Crestline.

5. Leaf & Petal

Leaf & Petal adds to the season with Silvertip Firs—their little miracle trees. They’re available for purchase now, and you can find them at all three Leaf and Petal locations.

6. Howell Christmas Trees

Howell Farms has been selling Christmas trees since 1983. In addition to their beautiful trees, you can find some of the best wreaths and ornaments in town.

7. Neely Farms—Thornsby

Neely Farms is an Alabama-favorite choose-and-cut tree farm. Sip on hot chocolate or spice tea while you choose one of their own-grown trees or Fraser Firs. You can also shop for wreaths and more from the gift shop!

8. Old Baker Farm—Harpersville

Find a picture-perfect Christmas tree at Old Baker Farm, complete with dozens of types of trees, a train through the farm and hot chocolate and apple cider.

9. Clear Creek Christmas Tree Farm—Jasper

One hour outside of downtown Birmingham is Clear Creek Christmas Tree Farm in Jasper. You’ll find trees ranging from five to nine feet tall and a guaranteed great experience for your whole family.

10. Beaver’s Christmas Tree Farm—Trafford

At Beaver’s Christmas Tree Farm, you can snag a tree, take family photos and drink complimentary hot chocolate or apple cider. It’s a win-win-win!
