Get ready for the new Big Bad Breakfast, Pelham! After more than a year, it’s finally time for them to open their doors.

This new location officially opens to the public on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Big Bad Breakfast boasts many of its restaurants throughout the South. They recently opened some other local locations just a handful of months ago — one in Vestavia Hills and another in Cahaba Heights — so pretty much anyone in Birmingham can find a convenient location at this point.

The Pelham location has been a long time coming: News of it coming to the entertainment district was announced October 2024.

Pelham’s Big Bad Breakfast is located in the Canopy at Oak Mountain next to Taco Mac and Cahaba Cycles and near the Pelham Civic Center Complex, the home of the Birmingham Bulls.

The new Pelham location held a preview day Friday, Nov. 7, and Bham Now was invited to catch a sneak peek.

BBB’s offerings include everything you might want from a breakfast joint, such as:

Biscuits (Made from scratch all day long!)
Eggs benedict (We recommend the “Redneck” Benny)
Omelets
Skillets (Get all the fixin’s: Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, veggies, cheese, potatoes and more)
Pancakes + waffles
Coffee (I’m personally a big fan of the Big Bad Cold Brew)
Cocktails, mocktails and juices

Their menu is full of dishes that sound delicious, and I couldn’t make up my mind! I decided to try a little bit of everything with a breakfast plate, which did not disappoint.
