Big Whiskey’s to open Alabaster location late September

All the way back in January 2024, we reported that Big Whiskey’s was planning to open its third Birmingham Metro location in Alabaster.
On Monday, September 29, the new eatery will celebrate its official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Read on for details.
Big Whiskey’s 3rd Birmingham Metro location
Located inside the former O’Charley’s building on Colonial Drive, Big Whiskey’s bills itself as “a sports bar for game-day enthusiasts, a whiskey bar for whiskey devotees and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere for a family night out”, per its website.
Founded in Downtown Springfield, Missouri in 2006, Big Whiskey’s features a wide variety of menu items including several signature items like the famous Chicken Ranch Alfredo, The Honey Stung Burger, Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos and The Brunch Melt.
The restaurant and bar chain has more than 20 locations across six states including Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri and Florida.
