Big Bad Breakfast opens in Cahaba Heights: Here’s what you should know
Reading time: 3 minutes

Cahaba Heights is getting a new breakfast spot starting Saturday, Sept. 13, and its food is worth waking up early for.
Big Bad Breakfast (BBB), a breakfast chain with locations across the South, is officially celebrating its grand opening at the new location in Vestavia Hills, and Bham Now got a special first look.

The menu has everything you might want from a breakfast joint, such as:
- Biscuits (Made from scratch all day long!)
- Eggs benedict (We recommend the “Redneck” Benny)
- Omelets
- Skillets (Get all the fixin’s: Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, veggies, cheese, potatoes and more)
- Pancakes + waffles
- Coffee (I’m personally a big fan of the Big Bad Cold Brew)
- Cocktails, mocktails and juices
Some Bham Nowers and I tried a handful of dishes…

I opted for the “Mother of All Biscuits” with fried chicken and cheese on one of their freshly-cooked biscuits. I’m a big fan of a good biscuit sandwich, so I was happy with my choice. I topped it off with their hot sauce and some peach jam that were in bottles on the table.

The other folks grabbed the “Redneck” Benny — with perfectly poached eggs, ham and gravy — and the classic Biscuit and Gravy.
That’s only just the beginning of what there is to try at BBB.

The new BBB in Cahaba Heights is its 8th statewide. The chain has also announced plans to open another location in Pelham, near the Pelham Civic Center Complex in the heart of the entertainment district.
