BLUEROOT closes in Pepper Place + makes way for a new sandwich shop

Pepper Place’s Blueroot, founded by James Beard Award-winner Jennifer Ryan, has been a go-to for healthy and delicious food options since 2019.
Now, it looks like Jennifer and the BLUEROOT team are undergoing a little rebrand.
Here’s what we know.
Goodbye, BLUEROOT + hello, The Mustard Club

Confirmed by signage on BLUEROOT’s door, the restaurant announced its closure.
But! It’s not the end for this team or Pepper Place-regulars.
The note reads:
“Lettuce turn over a new leaf!
Blueroot is closed and we are transforming into a new, neighborhood cafe. The Mustard Club is coming soon, a sandwich shop and more.
We look forward to being part of your daily routine! Stay tuned!
