UFL Owner: Birmingham Stallions returning for Spring 2026 season

The Birmingham Stallions are staying.
UFL owner Mike Repole confirmed on WJOX’s McElroy and Cubelic Show this morning the Stallions will be playing this coming Spring season.
An excerpt from the interview:
“I’ll say it here, The Birmingham Stallions will be playing there next March. I’m going to be at the home opener. I need 19,999 other people to show up with me.
…I’m glad that we’re going to be a big thing in Birmingham. And you know what? They’re the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers of spring football. — the Birmingham Stallions – they are a dynasty. So the fans should support them like that.”

Birmingham Stallions quadruple season ticket sales
Last Friday, Repole told fans and civic leaders in Birmingham that 5000+ season ticket deposits are needed to keep the Birmingham Stallions from relocation. Since the UFL and Repole made the challenge Stallions fans more than quadrupled the number of season ticket deposits from 500 to 2200.
Repole told Greg McElroy and Cole Cubelic he wanted to see how fired up the fanbase was in Birmingham. He got his answer.
“I’m all for Birmingham. I want to have fun. I want to fill out that place,” he declared.
