Planning a lake trip to Logan Martin this weekend? If so, you ought to pay a visit to Pell City’s new Jamaican restaurant, Mama Spice, which opens its doors Friday, July 11.

Located at 1021 Martin Street, Mama Spice is the newest restaurant in the St. Clair County town of Pell City. Exquisitely adorned with Jamaican decor and murals, Mama Spice offers up island delicacies like:

  • Oxtails + rice and beans
  • Jerk chicken
  • Curry goat
  • A variety of soups and Jamaican sodas

Mama Spice Grand Opening July 11th

According to owner Ricardo Johnson, Mama Spice plans to open Friday, July 11 and will soon apply for its liquor license. 

The restaurant is open:

  • Monday to Thursday — 11 AM to 8 PM
  • Friday to Sunday — 11 AM to 9 PM 
  • Location: 1021 Martin Street in Pell City
