Birmingham Earth Day EV Showcase
If you’ve been driving around Birmingham lately, chances are you’ve seen a couple of cybertrucks or one of the spiffy new Rivians.
While these cars appear elegant and feature an elevated modern look, they also do a substantial amount of good for our environment. According to the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition, the promotion of clean, renewable, domestic energy sources helps by:
- Increasing economic development investments in our local communities
- Reducing the state’s dependence on foreign oil
- Improving local air quality
This Saturday, April 26, The Market at Pepper Place will host the Birmingham Earth Day EV Showcase, where Mobile members of the Bay Area Chapter of Drive Electric Alabama will show off their EV’s and offer information on owning an electric vehicle, maintenance, how it impacts our environment and more.

- When: Saturday, April 26, 8AM-Noon
