I’m all for any excuse to bask in the beautiful spring weather in Birmingham. Ballet in the Park, a free-to-attend performance with local artists, lets me do that—and it’s coming up on Sunday, April 27!

If you’re not familiar with Magic City Performing Arts (MCPA), let me be the first to tell you: They are all about local talent and community-engaging events.
Ballet in the Park is fun, free and gives you an opportunity to explore the beauty of dance in the heart of Birmingham.

Young Dancer Workshops
- Who: Dancers ages 8-12
- When: July 14-18 | 9AM-Noon

- How much: $150 per week

Advanced/Intermediate Summer Intensive
- Who: Dancers ages 13+
- When: July 12-25 + July 28-August 1 | 9AM-2PM
- Where: The Dance Foundation, 1715 27th Ct S, Homewood, AL 35209
- How much: $225 for one week | $400 for two weeks
