Truckworx selects Birmingham for new corporate hub

Truckworx, one of Alabama’s largest heavy and medium truck dealers, is set to build its corporate headquarters in Birmingham across from its flagship dealership on Finley Boulevard.

According to a Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) news release, Truckworx’s new location at 2224 24th Ave. North, will house roles in accounting, IT, HR, support services and C-suite leadership, with average wages of $67,000. 

The project represents a $6.8 million investment in capital expenditures and 52 high-paying jobs for the city.

Multiple sites considered – Birmingham chosen

The company, which operates 23 locations across Alabama, Mississippi and Florida considered numerous sites for its headquarters but chose the Magic City.

The Truckworx project was supported by the BBA, the City of Birmingham, Jefferson County and other partners like Dunn Construction.
