If their name sounds familiar, you might have seen Tay’s Tea at local brewery pop-ups or markets like Pepper Place.

Last year, the Odoms were awarded a $34,615 grant through Birmingham Open for Business. The program is a partnership between PNC Foundation and REV Birmingham aimed at providing local entrepreneurs the resources to sustainably build their businesses for the long-term, ultimately hoping to create more vibrant communities and neighborhoods.

According to James Odom in a recent Reddit post, they’ll be doing a soft opening while they train employees and hone the menu before eventually celebrating a grand opening at a later date.
