Get ready for an exciting summer at Asbury UMC! Registration for summer camps opens on Tuesday, March 18, and there are tons of opportunities for kids of all ages to have a blast.
Asbury’s Recreation Ministry is hosting both morning and afternoon day camps, which can be combined for a full day of entertainment. Plus, don’t miss out on two fantastic week-long camps from Asbury KiDS Ministry: Gross Out Camp and Vacation Bible School (VBS).

Asbury UMC—Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Join Asbury KiDS for an adventure on the open road! Led by the Navigator and his trusty pup, Scout, kids will embark on a journey to lively destinations, learning that God is always with them.
This action-packed week will include fun activities, music, games and Bible lessons.

- Ages: Rising Kindergarten–Fifth Grade

VBS can be combined with Lacrosse, Chess or Princess Camp for an all-day experience. Don’t forget to bring a lunch!
Note: Preschool VBS is available for children of adult volunteers, and rising 6th-12th graders are welcome to serve as youth volunteers. Sign up to volunteer here.
Asbury UMC—CASA Summer Fun
Camp is an awesome way to keep elementary-aged kids entertained this summer. But what if you have kids of multiple ages? Great news, you can enroll your kids in Asbury’s CASA Summer Fun Program.
Littles ages two months to Kindergarten will take part in Bible, science and movement classes and enjoy lots of free play with friends.
Kids in 1st-5th grade get to go on all sorts of unique field trips to some of the coolest, kid-friendliest spots around Birmingham, such as Let’s Play!, McWane Science Center and The Birmingham Zoo.
