If you’re looking for the perfect place to unwind and create some picture-perfect art, Artsy Studio is the place for you.
The studio aims to offer kids a chance to engage in process-based art and the freedom to create anything that comes to mind.

Creative therapy for all ages at Artsy Studio

The process of creating art can be a powerful tool for helping to relieve anxiety, stress and depression.
Artsy Studio provides kids and adults with a creative outlet to embrace the joy of creating. This process has been found to improve cognitive development, hand-eye coordination and imagination. At Artsy, children are welcome to come in and make the biggest mess they possibly can and let their creative side reign.
Brittney Wysong, owner of Artsy Studio and mother of two, knew Trussville needed a place where people could come together and make something unique. When she went out of town with her two kids, she found herself searching for a place to bring them to enjoy the outdoors. She stumbled upon this serene craft studio with different stations and that’s when Brittney’s wheels started turning.
“The place was super calm and you could just see the wheels turning. I felt like I could truly be a kid again and get messy.
I continued to have this idea of having a space for kids to just be kids and there isn’t a lot of space like that. People can go to a lot of places that have structure but there’s so much to mess up. I wanted to create a space where kids can just go and so what their little minds are telling them to do.”

While the kids do their thing, adults can do theirs at the craft classes and workshops offered. Brittney wanted to be extremely intentional when providing a place where adults can also experience the joy of creating.
“We have open craft hours for adults. They can come in and we have like every art tool you could possibly imagine.
We also have our Charcuterie Craft Club that helps instill the joy of creating art while munching on some great charcuterie boards.”
