This year’s Native Plant Conference will feature Keynote Speaker Benjamin Vogt—renowned author, garden designer, and founder of Prairie Up. He’ll bring a fresh perspective on how ecological principles can revolutionize garden design for a more sustainable future.
Benjamin will join the 2025 Native Plant Conference virtually to reduce his carbon footprint.
Bonus event on March 21

Birmingham Botanical Gardens is hosting a special Harvest-to-Table Dinner after the conference on Friday, March 21 from 6PM to 8PM. This special bonus event will include a curated plant-based buffet prepared by local Chef Ama, featuring farm-fresh and seasonal ingredients.
