Here’s a look at what this Small Business Intensive is all about.

Previously known as Supplier Scale, the BBA’s Small Business Intensive is a 12-week program comprised of curriculum that includes interactive class sessions, peer mentoring groups, and the opportunity to gain experience from local experts in the fields of finance, marketing, procurement, corporate responsibility, and more. 

As an Intensive participant, you will:

  • Learn to work on your business, not just in your business
  • Become engaged with members of the Inclusive Procurement Council, who are looking to connect with small businesses located in Birmingham/Jefferson County
  • Connect with CEO mentors who have walked in your shoes
  • Learn from a community of like-minded peers + local experts
  • Develop a 3-year growth plan
  • And more!

Do you qualify for the BBA’s Small Business Intensive?

Here is a quick list of the qualifications your needed to apply:

  • Your business is a privately-owned company headquartered in Birmingham/Jefferson County
  • You employ 2 to 10 people, and/or generate between $100K and $1M in annual revenue; however, all companies are welcome to apply, regardless of revenue
  • You can attend a 12-week intensive course, complete mandatory assignments, and complete program surveys as requested

Applications are now being accepted for the April 1 through June 17 Small Business Intensive. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 10.

Need more time? The BBA will host another Small Business Intensive from August 5 through October 21. Be on the lookout for when you can apply.
