The Greater Birmingham Area is known as a great place for runners—whether at a designated walking trail or during a unique fundraising 5K.
This spring, you can get your sprint on beachside during the 2nd Annual Perdido Beach Resort Half Mile, 5K & Fun Run.
This is Perdido Beach Resort’s second year hosting the event and they have some fun things planned, whether you choose to run, walk or cheer on those who do.
Fast facts about the race:
- It benefits the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation (JCMF), a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of youth across Baldwin County.
- Last year, 349 runners participated + $11,000 was raised for JCMF.
