Coffee shop coming soon to Southside area under high rise apartment complex

Georgia-based Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee, which supports Rwandan coffee farmers, plans to open a cafe and social space at the Cortland Vesta apartment complex on Highland Avenue, according to Birmingham Business Journal.
This new coffee location will provide a welcoming environment for local communities to connect over a cup of coffee.
Brewing community in Southside
The company’s mission includes selling ethically sourced beans, offering brewing equipment, and creating social spaces that foster community engagement.
By opening this new location, Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee hopes to continue growing its network of cafes and social spaces while furthering its mission to support sustainable coffee farming.
This will be the coffee shop’s first opening in Alabama. They have other locations in Georgia, Flordia, Tennesee, Texas, Massachusetts, Utah, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
