The Birmingham Stallions and Birmingham Legion FC recently released their 2025 home schedules at Protective Stadium.

Read on to learn when all the games will take place and what to expect this coming year.

Hammer Down! Legion FC opens 2025 against Atlanta United

In mid-December, the Legion released their 16-game USL Championship home schedule and announced they are playing the Atlanta United for a preseason game on Feb. 1.

Even though Legion FC missed the playoffs for the first time in its history, the club has made some big moves in the offseason including re-signing three veteran players:

Captain and defender Phanuel Kavita
Midfielder Enzo Martinez
Forward Tyler Pasher

The season opener is against Loudoun United on Saturday, March 8.

Four games during the season are slated for Wednesdays. There is also the USL Jägermeister Cup, a tournament uniting clubs from the USL Championship and League One in a groundbreaking interleague competition. Legion’s first home game for that tournament is against the Chattanooga Red Wolves on Sunday, April 27th.

The three-time champion Birmingham Stallions will open the UFL season on the road on Sunday, March 30 against the D.C. Defenders. The road-warriors will return to Birmingham for the third game of the season for a special nationally televised Friday night game against the Arlington Renegades on April 11 at 7PM at Protective Stadium.

“The season is just a couple months away, and we’re so excited to have our schedule set! We’ll be on the road the first two games, but then by game 3 we’ll be back home in Birmingham with a Friday night home season opener under the lights at Protective Stadium. We need to pack Protective that night and for every home game. We’ve missed our Birmingham fans and are ready to begin a new and exciting season with a team filled with some familiar faces and new ones. Make sure you have your tickets. Giddy up!”

Week 3 – Friday, April 11, 2025 (7PM CT) vs. Arlington Renegades (FOX)
Week 5 – Friday, April 25, 2025 (7PM CT) vs Memphis Showboats (FOX)
Week 6 – Sunday, May 4, 2025 (3PM. CT) vs San Antonio Brahmas (FOX)
Week 7 – Sunday, May 11, 2025 (11AM CT) vs Houston Roughnecks
Week 9 – Saturday, May 24, 2025 (2PM CT) vs Michigan Panthers
