Two small-budget movies are filming in Birmingham this November and December.

Late last week, a film production crew was spotted on Morris Avenue in Downtown Birmingham.

According to Create Birmingham’s Interim President and CEO Jessica Moody, two films are scheduled to be shot in the Magic City this month and December.

They are titled:

  • Devoted
  • Kill him till he’s dead

Moody did not have any details about the films, but she did tell Bham Now the films are expected to be shot over the holidays, wrapping up before Christmas.

In addition to historic Morris Avenue, the films are scheduled to be shot in downtown Birmingham, Highland Park and Mountain Brook.

The only other clues we could find about the movies were a recent Birmingham area casting call by Goleman Casting seeking a wide range of potential characters.
