1. The Magic of Model Trains

As you roll into the holiday season, the Magic of Model Trains is a delightful first stop to help you get into the festive spirit. 

The beloved event chugs into McWane for its 19th year this November. Here’s why the whole family will love it:

• It’s created by The Wrecking Crew Model Railroad Club founded in 1989 by six model train enthusiasts.
• The exhibit features over a dozen different displays with model trains of every shape and size.
• Each train track is designed to scale with meticulous detail. You’ll discover a miniature, true-to-life city with everything from covered bridges and downtown storefronts to a drive-in theatre and people waiting for a train. 
• All trains included in the exhibit really work! You can even pretend to be a conductor and operate some of the trains.

BONUS: McWane’s train and zip line will be open, so be sure to take a magical ride during your visit.

2. McWane Member Holiday Party

Do you have a McWane membership? If yes, you’re invited to a special complimentary party this December! 

During this holiday-themed event, there will be lots of activities for all ages, including: 

• Crafts
• Photos with Santa
• Science programs

Plus—it’s a nice way to make sweet memories with your family this year.
