When it comes to serving up good chicken this holiday season, we’re not looking to large national chains but rather to our Lakeview favorite, Hattie B’s.
If you want something hot-to-go (I know you’re singing that Chappell Roan song in your head), don’t miss out on Hattie B’s bucket of wings or tenders, family meal packs and Thanksgiving to-go offerings. Read on for all the details.
Hattie B’s to-go
This fall, take advantage of Hattie B’s to-go offerings for your tailgate, holiday gathering or Thanksgiving table.

Each order comes with Old School Giblet Gravy, Jack Daniel’s Cranberry Sauce and a pack of Sister Schubert’s Rolls.
Also available to round out your holiday meal: Half pans ($50 each) of Pimiento Mac & Cheese, Southern Greens, Potato Salad, Black-Eyed Pea Salad and Peach Cobbler.

Honoring the meat-and-three
Hattie B’s menu is rooted in the traditional Southern meat-and-three restaurant. The fast-casual eatery opened in Lakeview in 2016 and is now renowned nationally for its fiery fowl, the star of their show, including bone-in chicken, tenders and a sandwich. (Psst… tenders and sandwiches are available fried or grilled!).
With an emphasis on quality and flavor, their menu features favorites with a twist, like Pimiento Mac and Cheese and a Black-Eyed Pea Salad, alongside classic dishes like Southern Greens and Red Skin Potato Salad. Plus, don’t miss their cool-and-creamy Banana Pudding or popular Peach Cobbler for dessert.
One thing is for sure: this team doesn’t take shortcuts and ensures that every scratch-made side and chicken wing is made to perfection.
Can you handle the heat?
Hattie B’s offers varying levels of heat and delicious Southern fried chicken with no heat:
- Southern (no heat)
- Mild (a touch of heat)
- Medium (warming-up)
- Hot (classic Nashville hot chicken)
- Damn Hot (introduces habanero peppers to the mix)
- Shut the Cluck Up!!! (The ultimate daredevil’s dream, with an onslaught of ghost, habanero, and cayenne peppers)
Bonus: Every order of “Shut the Cluck Up!!!” drives $1 to the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama.
