Vulcan’s Spooktacular Halloween—fun for all ages

Vulcan's Spooktacular
Get your costumes ready for a night at Vulcan Park & Museum. (Nathan Watson / Bham Now)

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year. Costumes, candy, tricks and treats—it’s a whole vibe.

It’s also the only night you can run “a muck” and others will encourage it. At least Sarah Sanderson of Hocus Pocus will.

There is so much for all ages to enjoy during Vulcan’s Spooktacular Halloween.

Here’s a peek at what you’ll discover while you’re there:

  • Face painting
  • Photo ops around the Park
  • Music
  • Complimentary popcorn + refreshments
  • Beer, wine + cocktails (for purchase—must show valid ID)
  • Special appearance by Mascot “V”

There will also be a variety of food vendors onsite, including:

  • B&B
  • Brandi Still Face Painter
  • Five Loaves Micro Bakery
  • Mayfield Ice Cream
  • Merry Balloon Fairy
  • Spud Dawg- Hot Dog
  • Suga Mama’s Bakery

What about candy?

Obviously, you can’t have a Halloween party without an epic sugar rush! That’s why you’ll find trick-or-treating stations throughout the museum.

No one will be denied a tasty treat, no matter their age, so be sure to enjoy a chocolate or two.

Your ticket also grants you access to great food and drinks, including a signature cocktail, beer, wine or nonalcoholic beverage.
