Attention Jefferson County biz owners! Beginning October 1, you can save time by renewing your business license online.
Read on for everything you need to know about the new platform, including important steps to take, information needed and more.
What led to Jefferson Countyβs new online business license renewal platform?
The answer is you! Jefferson Countyβs Director of Revenue, Scott Moore, told us the decision was primarily driven by customer demand.
After receiving countless emails, calls and even hand-written notes on business license renewal statements, the county has listened. Woo hoo! Itβs nice to be heard.
βWe hope business owners find the website easy to use and less burdensome than mailing forms back and forth or driving to the courthouse.
This process was developed to allow businesses to do what they do best and not have to spend time away from their business completing their license renewal.β
