K&J’s Elegant Pastries, a beloved one-stop-shop for all of your sugary needs, is saying goodbye to its Ross Bridge location.

Owner and famous chef Kristal Bryant has two locations in the Birmingham area: Uptown (near City Walk BHAM) and Hoover.

The good news is that this will be the only shop closing as the other is doing extremely well, according to Chef Kristal.

Chef Kristal Bryant has been blessing the mouths of many in Birmingham since 2017.

From officially opening her business from home to owning a widely successful bakery, Chef Kristal is taking the confectionery scene by storm. Her sweet creations feature traditional cupcakes, milkshakes and cakes made with a twist.

Ranging from colossal shakes to extravagant wedding cakes, this Birmingham chef has earned herself features on Good Morning America, Food Network and Southern Living Magazine.

Now, Chef Kristal is saying goodbye to her Ross Bridge location in Hoover due to a lack of business. On the other hand, the other two locations in Uptown and Downtown Birmingham are open and thriving, according to Kristal.

“Unfortunately, this store didn’t do what it needed to do to survive but I am okay with that. Our uptown store is booming and will be open. The Ross Bridge store will be closing as of this Saturday, September 14th.”
