Grandview Medical Center continues to expand.

The hospital on Highway 280 now has 10 new ER treatment rooms bringing their total to 32.

Grandview Medical Center’s new ER serves 45,000 annually

Earlier this month, the hospital held a ribbon cutting celebrating the 3,600 square feet addition within the emergency department footprint.

“Currently, our ER has approximately 45,000 visits annually. This expansion will allow our team to continue providing responsive emergency care for patients needing our services. The additional rooms will minimize the use of alternative treatment areas and improve the patient experience.”

It has been a transformative year for Grandview Medical Center, especially in the area of emergency care. In May, they opened a 12,500 sq. ft. freestanding emergency department facility, a first of its kind in the Trussville community.
